Học bổng vùng Desination Australia của chính phủ Úc
Học bổng vùng Destination Australia nằm trong chính sách phát triển các khu vực “regional” (bao gồm hầu hết các thành phố ở Úc trừ Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane). Chính phủ đã đầu tư hơn 1 tỷ đô la cho giáo dục vùng kể từ năm 2016, bao gồm 93,7 triệu đô la cho học bổng Destination Australia. Riêng 2022, chính phủ tiếp tục cấp 6 triệu đô cho các cơ sở đại học vùng để thu hút sinh viên đến học tập và làm việc.
Năm 2022, học bổng vùng Destination Australia trị giá 15,000 đô/sinh viên/năm sẽ được cấp thông qua 28 trường đại học tại 74 cơ sở đào tạo vùng, dự kiến tổng số học bổng là 383 sinh viên trải dài trình độ từ chứng chỉ IV đến tiến sĩ.
Hiện tại các sinh viên theo học tại các cơ sở vùng còn được hưởng thêm chính sách ở lại làm việc sau khi tốt nghiêp từ 03 năm trở lên.
